Trader – Bear Range of Fully Interconnectable Wireless Smoke Alarms

February 1, 2023
Trader – Bear Range of Fully Interconnectable Wireless Smoke Alarms

Interconnectable smokies without wires.

Trader GSM’s new Bear range of Smoke alarms have been designed to make interconnection much easier for the installer.

Trader’s mains-wired BESMOKEY10 Photoelectric Smoke Alarm offers both a hard-wired as well as a wireless-ready cable free interconnectable solution. For wireless, the installer simply inserts a BESMOKEY10WM Wireless Module into each mains-powered alarm, pairs them up and instantly the alarms are interconnected up to a distance of 60 metres line of sight.

Alternatively, to make interconnection even easier to achieve, Trader has made the BESMOKEY10BW battery only smoke alarm available. This alarm is supplied with a 10 year non-removable battery. It requires no mains-wire to power or cable to interconnect. It can be used standalone but more importantly, it too can also be paired up with the BESMOKEY10 alarm (fitted with a BESMOKEY10WM Wireless Module). Once activated, simply pair the alarms together and the job is done.

The wireless interconnection distance with the BESMOKEY10BW is an impressive 100 metres in free field. Installers can interconnect up to 40 units, more than enough for most dwellings. Where two or more alarms are required, Trader recommends the addition of the BESMOKEY10REM Remote. This allows easy testing and control of the alarms with some excellent safety features too.
