After over 30 years in electrical wholesaling, 32 years as an independent, and experiencing 2 years as a corporate, it was time for Mark & Raylene Smith to come back as independents again and join forces with their mates from Lecky’s, plus long time work colleague and friend Grant Mead, to form Lecky’s Hunter Valley Electrical Wholesalers in Hamilton, NSW.

Kick-starting our business in July 2011 with 5 staff was a very exciting prospect for us, and knowing we have over 110 years of electrical wholesale experience within our team gives us a great advantage and healthy respect for the market.

Keeping our money in Australia and supporting local business is what our business strives to achieve. Our mission is to provide an overall commitment to service, reliability, fair pricing and build on a proven trust to our customer, Gemcell, our people and suppliers, that is second to none. Mark says, “It has always been my belief that a business is only as good as the people in it, and growth is only achieved if the people in the business grow with it, and being a member of Gemcell enables us to achieve that.”
